Death, and Christ’s Believers and Followers

What does Death mean to those who Believe and Follow Jesus Christ’s teachings? It is a temporary transitional state. Apostle Paul equated it to a period of sleep. In Hebrews, the Author is not clearly known, it is called God’s “rest”. And in the book of Revelations, John says that all the dead shall rise. Some to judgment and some to everlasting life with God. The main point is, that it is not the end of our existence. After death, we believers and followers will wake to a new spiritual existence in the presence of God and Christ.

Conclusion

Why, “and Followers”? The Bible says that the “devils also believe, and tremble”. So, believing must be followed by actions, or “work” according to the book of James, the half-brother of Christ. The Devil and all the people who choose not to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ will be cast into a lake of fire along with death and hell.
